====== Member Onboarding Process ======
This page describes how the application and approval worfkow works, including the systems used.

===== High Level Process =====
Here's the basic flow:
  - A prospective member goes to the joining_steps page and clicks the application link.
  - The prospect fills out the application including information we need to evaluate the prospect.
  - Upon submitting the application , an email is sent to each board member with a link to review the application.
  - Each board member can approve or deny the application and put in a note (optional).
  - If the prospect qualifies for approval by having a 2 more "ayes" than "nays", an email goes out to the those assigned with the "approver" role.  This occurs after one of the following conditions: happens:
    -  A net positive of 2 aye votes and a 4 day period passes.
    -  A net positive of 4 aye votes happens.
  - If an Approver approves the prospect, the new member is sent an email given them instructions on what to do next (defined on joining_steps page).
  - Once the member completes their paypal , they should connect with a person to get them setup with a fob after getting a copy of their state ID, verifying the waiver and verifying the payment.

The application is a form created in forms.fillout.com called "Member Application". This form sits on top of an airtable database and completing an application creates a row in the "Member Application" table.
